Stay Safe. Stay Hopeful!

Getting through the fog can be a nightmare. I know. There are days I can't see the house across the street.

Such is life in Newfoundland. Of Newfoundland and Labrador. That great Rock stuck in the North Atlantic at the east end of Canada. And where I live.

There are other kinds of fog, too; days of fear and anxiety when you're all alone, seemingly without support.

After surviving a long period of unplanned, unexpected isolation, along with the heart-breaking stress of family illness, I know the value of kind words, and of kind deeds, from friends.

So in turn, I hope my lighthearted stories will cheer you and bring you hope.

Know there is light at the end of the road; know there are others who care.

Remember: When you're at your wit's end, take a breath, then hang on.

Bon courage, as my friends in Paris would say!

With respect and the hope for healthy, prosperous days ahead for us all,
NJR Ryan
